This month's yarn is a brand new style of semi-solid and uses 2 colours. It was a bit of an experiment but I really love the results and will do this again. The yarn looks variegated but it really isn't because both colours are applied using the semi-solid technique which means as this colourway is knit, the colours will knit semi-solid together. June's "Teaser"
This month's colourway is a bit of an experiment in developing a contrasting 2-colour semi-solid! I've always been intrigued by "thinking outside the box" when it comes to colourways and instead of dyeing the traditional non-contrasting 1 colour semi-solid, I thought I'd experiment with a contrasting 2 colour semi-solid. Both colours were dyed onto the yarn using my 1 colour semi-solid technique which ended up producing a rather interesting result! Some yarns will have more of one colour and some more of the other. I'm really curious to see how these ones knit up. Enjoy!
